Hi Aileen,  I just wanted to give you some feedback on our session regarding my lack of belief in myself.

I came to you as I felt that I was really struggling to fully commit to my course and potential new career. I was dealing with feelings of not feeling good enough or capable, and I was feeling quite struck in my motivation to keep going. In truth my lack of belief in myself was holding me back from progressing and I had gotten to a point where I was just going through the process of the course rather than believing I could be valuable to others and have a purpose within my chosen field.

When you spoke to me and explored these feelings within the initial call, I immediately picked up on your enthusiastic and motivating tone. I felt listened to and understood from the word go. When the actual hypnotherapy session took place I felt able to be honest with my feelings and experiences with you. I didn't feel as though anything I said would shock you or that you weren't able to handle it. The session whizzed by and I opened up a new understanding of myself. I was able to take the time and have the space to fully reflect, and acknowledge where all these overwhelming feelings had come from, but more importantly I was able to dare to imagine and envisage something different.

The recording you created for me is exciting, personal, motivating and amazing to listen to. It's great to pick me up when I sense these thoughts entering my mind again, and I looked forward to listening to it in the mornings every day. It sets me up from the moment I wake up. I intend to keep it in my tool box of coping strategies to help support my progress.

Before I had a coach, I was not managing my business right. I was overworked, working too many long hours, unorganised, feeling a lot of pressure and not enough control over the running of my business, as it was expanding rapidly.

I didn’t know how to get the sale of the job, and to understand the difference between a good profitable job and one that was not so good. I also had no payment terms so I struggled to get payments with many various projects.

When I met Aileen, things changed straight away. My whole mindset did a complete 360. I was uneducated on how to run my business properly. She showed me that I had skills that I didn’t even know existed…how to be a leader, motivator & a delegator.

I first met Aileen at a BNI meeting in Carrick and was very impressed with her presentation at the meeting.

As my business had just come through the recession I felt we were stagnating and I found it very hard to get motivated to grow the business.

In the first initial consultation we teased out exactly what was causing my lack of motivation and where we were going wrong in running the business. Like all business owners who came through the recession I was doing most things fairly well but needed to up my game, and more importantly, my mindset to a higher level.

Although initially unsure about some of the tasks she asked me to do, I stuck with it and did the homework, and I found myself developing a whole new outlook on the business and the way I was running it.

When we looked at the figures for the previous year, using a very effective system supplied by Aileen, I found that not only was the business stagnating, but in real terms I was losing money.

By taking the decision of increasing turnover by 5% and decreasing costs by 10% we could start to bring the company back in to profit and begin to grow the business.

To date, we have increased the turnover by 20% and have kept the costs at least at the same level as the previous year, and we are still actively trying to reduce them by the agreed 10%.

So if you are thinking of business coaching I would say, you won’t get better than Aileen, and even though you may think it’s expensive you get what you pay for. Her no nonsense and practical approach to business will benefit you both personally and your business for years to come.

I opened my business in November of 2020 feeling excited and motivated, and my business promptly began to flourish and take off. The coaching from Aileen is very structured and it makes sense that this is a good approach. When a business is in difficulty, it’s all too easy to try quick fixes, but the structure of Aileen’s programme gives us confidence that we are attending to all aspects of the business. I was struggling to cope with all aspects of running the business and felt I needed help in identifying what areas of the business I should be focusing on and what areas I should be delegating to someone else. In ways I needed help to find where my strengths lie.

My main frustration that led me to coaching was that I was running around like a headless chicken, not having enough time to even check figures. Now I have a system that allows me to keep a good eye on figures on a daily or weekly basis.

I’ve learned what this business should expect to see as regards Gross Profit and Net Profit percentages, and also the wage breakdown for the different departments.
